1 Site Visit

You and I will meet at your garden-to-be to have a conversation about your goals, ideas, and preferences (color, plant type, and hardscape materials). During this visit, I can assess the type of soil, amount of light, and general context in which your space is located. Measurements of the space will be taken along with photographs and notes on current plants and any other pertinent information.

 

2 Design

The design process can take varied forms and stages depending on the scope of the project. Site conditions, maintenance/irrigation requirements, hardscape and plant preferences, and overall style are all key elements considered in the design process. Her process ensures that each phase of garden or landscape design is met with your approval before progressing to the next phase.   

For typical design projects, the client will be provided with three components: an illustrative, to-scale plan, a quantitative plant list and a written proposal itemizing various steps of the project.
